These terms govern your use of FixNowTT Protected, operated by Sovereign Digital Group Ltd in Trinidad & Tobago.
FixNowTT Protected is a marketplace and payment agent that connects you with independent tradesmen ("pros"). We are not the contractor and do not perform the work ourselves. The contract for the work is between you and the pro you choose.
Pros are independent contractors responsible for their own work, licensing and insurance. FixNowTT Protected does not warrant the quality of any pro’s work. Any warranty offered on a job is offered by the pro, not by us.
When you book a job, you pay the accepted bid plus a protection fee into escrow. The parts portion is released to the pro when you confirm work has started. The labour portion is released when you sign off — or automatically 72 hours after the pro marks the job complete if you have not responded and have not raised a dispute.
If there is a problem, raise a dispute in the app and the escrow is frozen. SOV will mediate within 7 days and may release, refund or split the funds. Unresolved matters may proceed to the Dispute Resolution Centre of Trinidad & Tobago and, as a last resort, the Petty Civil Court.
A customer protection fee applies to booked jobs, shown to you before you pay. Fees are displayed on the pricing page and in checkout.
To the extent permitted by law, Sovereign Digital Group Ltd’s total liability to you is limited to the fees we earned on the job in question. We are not liable for the acts, omissions or work of any pro.
We handle your personal data in line with the Data Protection Act of Trinidad & Tobago. Contact details are only shared with a pro after you fund a job. See our Privacy Policy.
